What the end of ACP means for AT&T customers

While the program ran, eligible AT&T customers could get up to $30 a month off mobile data service, and AT&T offered at least one plan that was free with the discount.

Since June 1, 2024, customers who kept service pay the regular price unless they changed plans. To lower your bill now:

  • Ask AT&T about its Lifeline discount of up to $9.25/month.
  • Call 866-986-0963 and ask whether it has a low-income plan or a cheaper tier.
  • Check for low-cost offers by ZIP code at EveryoneOn.
